Hey.. I'm from Bologna. It will start in July, they say but we'll see, it is obviously voluntary at first and they're gonna assign gifts to the "good ones". After a trial period it should become mandatory for every citizens… but i tell you more, in a small town called Fidenza they already had introduced a social credit system (obviously only trial version for now) in the social housing… if you lose all your points you lose your house. Note: this is only for social housing that we have here in Italy if you are a low income. 

Some of us are fighting this [for] almost 2 years every week [in] town squares and in the streets but 80 to 85% of Italians [are] still sleeping. But it's not over until is over, right? 

Oh I forgot to tell that from July you'll need a reservation for the night [with] a QR code (or a permanent one for citizens and workers) to enter Venice.
