The Great Reset: Wall Street just took over single-family rental homes on a large scale.

John Williams: "No one is telling us what is really happening to housing so I will."

"Many people look at real estate and see a land of opportunity, many people look at real estate and see the American Dream, many see it as a key to enter the middle class. Real Estate, whether it be residential, commercial, industrial or otherwise always proved to be a smart and savvy investment if held for a long enough period of time. I love real estate and think that real estate is an incredible investment if bought properly.

"However I am not alone in this thought process. There are many private equity companies, corporations and hedge funds that also love residential real estate and housing as a whole. Some of the biggest corporations are following suite and also investing heavily into housing, specifically single family rental homes.

"We are seeing a whole new era for real estate, especially multi family real estate and single family real estate. I believe that as we begin to increase interest rates and see the market become a bit more out of touch for the traditional home buyers, we will begin to see the floor below the housing market start to crack and below it will be a bag full of money from large investment vehicles to acquire the crashed housing market."
