Clint Russel: "If you are in a capitalist field and you're trying to make a return on investment for your investors, which in this case is your shareholders it is to the benefit to not only the shareholders but society more broadly.… The reason that we have governments are benevolent… that is their role is to tamp down on the misdeeds of capitalism. If you combine the two, you basically have no escape hatch. If they get it wrong then you end up in a dystopic hellscape. 

As of now we have both big business and big government that are working in tandem with a kind of monolithic groupthink as to what the world should look like in the future. 

This is an extraordinary dangerous paradigm shift. Instead of having big business at odds with big government, historically, there was still at least a veneer of being separate and antagonistic with one another. This is no longer the case. They are now working in lockstep with one another. And this is very very dangerous."

Note: In this video, it was noted the Mexico is planning to launch a CBDC by the end of 2024.
