The Great Reset: The path to CBDC – Fractional reserve banking may not exist for much longer.

"Fractional reserve banking. This is something that has been making the news recently as people are waking up to the fact that this one thing is responsible for much of the instability that we see in our economy today.

"Fractional reserve banking makes banks vulnerable to bank runs. If everybody tries to get their money, well, you realize if you are not first in line, you might not actually be able to get your money because it has been loaned out.

"They only hold a fraction of the reserves. That is what it means. They lent out everybody else's money. They do not have your money. And the instability, and fragility that fractional reserve banking causes are nothing new.

"This has been going on since the invention of fractional reserve banking. So why might you ask? Did it ever start? If it had been doomed to cause bank failures from the beginning, then who in their right mind would never have signed up for it?"
