The Justin Trudeau-led coalition has passed and voted through Bill C-11. This is a sad day for Canada and for freedom and liberty. It's unclear how this will affect platforms like YouTube."

"The changes [in the bill] give the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), Canada's broadcast regulator, broad powers over digital media companies, including the ability to impose financial penalties for violation of the act."
