Scientific Research: Under reporting of vaccine adverse reactions is a serious event by as much as 95%.
Dr. John Campbells looks at how to report adverse reactions in Australia, UK and US as well as reviews a 2012 study of 12 countries with 43 numerical estimates of under reporting. The breakdown are as follows:
The median under-reporting rate across the 37 studies was 94% (i.e. only 6% adverse events were reported).
In the primary care area, only 95% was under reported for non serious adverse events. For serious or severe the number drops to 80% as under reported.
In the hospital based area, 85% to 95% was under reported for more severe or serious adverse events.
