The Great Reset: Cash and CBDCs – ATMs and bank branches missing in action overnight.

"All across the WEF backed world ATM's and local bank branches are disappearing. Where'd they go? What's behind this tide of closures? We examine the impending roll out of digital surveillance and Central Bank Digital Currencies."

"Two weeks ago the head of the digital management director for the IMF let the cat out of the bag on why they are moving quickly towards a CBDC. His third point here is all about control, it's all about surveillance and programming how and when you would get access to this money. Basically if we don't want you to have the money, it expires."

The third way we think CBDC can improve financial inclusion is through what we call programmability. That is CBDC can allow government agencies and private sector players to program, to create smart contract, to allow targeted policy functions. For example, welfare payment, consumption coupon, food stamps. By programming CBDC, those money can be precisely targeted for what kind of people can own and what kind of use this money can be utilitzed. For example, for food. So this potential programmability can help government agencies to precisely target their support to those people who need support. – Head of Digital Management Director for the International Monetary Fund

@Moldavite-Turquoise-Serpent: "The U.S. House Financial Services Committee passed a bill in September 2023 that would block the Federal Reserve from creating a central bank digital currency (CBDC) without congressional approval. The bill, H.R. 5403, was introduced by Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) and is known as the "CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act."

"The bill has not yet been passed by the full House of Representatives or the Senate, but it is a sign of the growing opposition to CBDCs in the US Congress. Some lawmakers are concerned that CBDCs could give the government too much control over the economy and individual finances. Others are worried that CBDCs could be used to surveil Americans.

"The Federal Reserve has said that it is still exploring the potential benefits and risks of CBDCs, but that it has not made a decision about whether or not to create one. The Fed has also said that it would not launch a CBDC without congressional approval.

"It is too early to say whether or not the US will eventually adopt a CBDC. However, the passage of H.R. 5403 by the House Financial Services Committee is a sign that the issue is likely to be debated for some time to come." (FedNow says "Hi! I'm here.")

@redherring9497: "As a Aussie I can confirm this, cash machines are disappearing in the country areas and the whole country is full of spineless useless consumers, and an absolute police state ! Country wide, majority of the country are still asleep.

"At least there are still decent amount of people that help beat that Racist Referendum last week. 🇦🇺 night night."

@stephendavey329: "In 2019 the Australian Parliament (both major parties) tried to introduce a cash ban law. There was a public protest, and a senate public hearing, and the legislation was dropped. Many thought it was a win. It wasn’t. The banks knew that they would be closing branches and ATMs so the net effect of stopping the use of cash would be the same.

"The major issue with Australians is overwhelming complacency. As long as they can watch footy, have a barbie by on the weekend, go to the beaches, they don’t care about anything else happening in the world.

"Unlike the amazing French, the Australians generally don’t care about ‘bigger picture’ ideas or threats. Joe Average either doesn’t know, doesn’t care, or thinks it’s all some sort of conspiracy theory."

@cidien: "At the branch I work at, our insurance company forced us to close down our ATM machines. They said they didn't like that we didn't use an armoured car service and it was too much risk. We live in a small community and this is beyond ridiculous. Now the only ATM we have is in our branch."

@jimbojones1107: "As an Australian I can say they were removing them before 'covert' , I didn't see any turned off but the removal of them accelerated and hasn't stopped."

@shrimpgrits: "My State Gov. (Desantis) signed legislation into law that CBDCs will never be accepted as legal currency in Florida and banks that do business in Florida can't enforce CBDC on Florida residents. Wonder how this will play out."

@doseofsanity: "People will beg for it because the CBDC comes with UBI. That’s how bad things will get."

@lisakaufman3129: "Third party ATM are predominant in Ontario Canada... for over a decade. However... small town bank branches are closing at a rapid rate, leaving our small town seniors struggling."

@rikellis7871: "❤❤❤Japan was one of the first chosen CBDC countries to try a preliminary test system and used it side by side with their regular banking system to verify transactions. They decided to cancel the program before the termination period, based on it demonstrated, violating their personal security, 98%!❤❤❤"

@jacqulinepayne2012: "My town in New Zealand of several thousand people had a not uncommon power failure and no one could buy or sell unless they had cash. There was also a cyber attack recently and it caused mayhem in the electronic banking system. There are so many vulnerabilities of a cashless system that even the head of the NZ reserve bank said a totally cashless system would be a bad idea."

@Modernaire: "They [globalists] also say... that crime break in retail theft is 'forcing' small businesses to go cashless. But, it's coercing, conditioning younger generations into going cashless, by tainting cash, besmirching and making it a status currency who's time is done, and who's use, is considered beneath or associated with poverty and or unfashionable financially."

@suzycat2026: "This has been going on in UK for past few years.. Even before 2020, branches closing down, now less cash machines. It's a sad day when we can't be trusted with our own cash."

@gmarounf7472: "It will take about 3 to 7 years before there is no more cash. It really does depend on how they play it. Remember they have a WW3 in their arsenal too. That can really shake things up. Our governments can really enforce their emergency laws both during and after that. Afterwards will probably be instrumental in the changing of thought on the the value of human worth and the right to self determination as well."

@tonysopranowife1834: "In Canada, The Bank of Canada put out a soft poll asking Canadians what they “feel” about digital currency. Of course, only a few select 'conspiracy theorists channels' heard about the poll/questionnaire and talked about it on their channels. Not a word from parliament, media or print. That means it’s coming."

@Procopius 464: "This evil has to be stopped, it is the number one threat to humanity right now."
