"Electric trucks are really like an EV but multiplied by many times over. Electric trucks' batteries are incredibly heavy and they take vast amount of electricity to charge in anything like a reasonable time. Even then those charging times which are far are far slower than filling up with diesel combined with a limited range have cut into companies profits. The bottom line is that everyone right down to consumers like you and me will pay more for goods that will be transported by road."
