The Great Reset: Net Zero rebellion – Understanding the Net Zero emission agenda and the rise of populism in Europe.

Dr. Benny Peiser of the Global Warming Policy Foundation was in Calgary on April 9th, 2024, to speak about "Europe's NetZero Rebellion and the implications for Canada." Dr. Peiser explained that 'climate is now a minority issue for voters.' Governments are facing defeat because of their extreme NetZero policies that are hitting citizens hard with high energy bills, draconian demands to switch out gas boilers for more expensive, less reliable heat pumps, and the threat of imported cheap Chinese EVs which would crater the EU and UK auto industry and devastate national economies. Dr. Peiser anticipates that Canada is about 5 years behind the EU in terms of public rejection.
