"President-elect Donald Trump has picked Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to lead the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE. Musk had claimed last month that around $2 trillion could be cut from the US federal budget by trimming the bureaucracy and restructuring federal agencies. Trump has also picked a Fox news host with little political experience to head the US defence department, leaving experts and lobbyists puzzled.
