Efrain Alegre of the Authentic Radical Liberal Party (PLRA) was the World Economic Forum's favoured candidate and came second in the Paraguay's presidential election in 2023. His running mate Maria Soledad Nunez Mendez is also a globalist's agent. As a Young Global Leader, she is one of the high ranking South American members.

Colorado Party candidate Santiago Pena, 44, won, the country's presidential election is a conservative economist.
