The Great Narrative: 'Wind theft' – Crazy Globalist's theory and absolute stupidity that wind farms are stealing wind!
"Wind theft is apparently now a 'thing' [as reported by BBC] in our insane Net Zero world we currently live in, plus a bunch of other EV madness from the last week..."

@DigbyOdel-et3xx: "1kg. of coal gives you 8kwh of energy. 1 kg. of petroleum gives you 12kwh of energy. 1 kg. of Uranium 235 gives you 24,000,000kwh of energy. This is a no brainer."
@martinh8784: "German here. We have a great example of how difficult and expensive it is to upgrade the grid. North German Wind energy cannot be transferred to South Germany (where it would be badly needed) because of insufficient grid capacity. So, Germany is currently running a €10 billion "Suedlink" project improving the North/South grid. This is one of the most expensive infrastructure projects on the books at the moment. This project was not needed before net zero, because there were power plants dotted around Germany. Southern Germany has to import much more energy due to a lack of grid capacity. Fun fact: if you mention this to a German Green, they accuse you of "fake news" and "misinformation",... showing how utterly misinformed they are."
@hughjasse3375: "Here's another one for you. There's a large push to heat pumps in NetZero, but an effect has been observed whereby a large number of ground source heat pumps are located close to each other, during cold winters - they steal each other's heat out of the ground! Further cooling the ground around them until the ground freezes at deeper depths, stopping the heat pumps from working!
"And Air source heat pumps don't work anyway in winter temperatures, so your options are to freeze, or only have your heating pump in open rural locations.
"I notice the UK parliament recently removed their heat pumps, because the MPs complained they don't heat in winter or cool in summer. All at great tax payer expenses. NetZero for thee, but not for me."
