The Great Narrative: 'Anti-American' universities are 'indoctrination factories' – 'Academia needed a hot poker up the…."

"Bill Maher has labelled US universities as 'indoctrination factories' and expressed support for US President Donald Trump's crackdown on the schools. During an episode of HBO's 'Real Time with Bill Maher' last Friday, the comedian claimed the universities needed a 'hot poker up the a**'.

"Maher's comments came in response to an audience member's question about Trump's attempts to reform universities across the US. 'Academia needed a hot poker up the a**… our universities have been out of control for a long time. They became indoctrination factories... There's absolutely no diversity of thought,' Maher said. President Trump has waged a war against several Ivy League schools over anti-Semitism, DEI policies and a lack of diverse thinking."
