Global Uprising: Macron appoints a new PM – 'Block Everything' protest erupts across France.

"Anti-government protesters clashed with police in central Paris late on Wednesday as thousands rallied under the slogan 'Block Everything' to oppose President Emmanuel Macron’s economic policies and austerity agenda. Demonstrators vandalized the Monument to the Republic, waved Palestinian flags, and lit smoke flares as police deployed in force across the capital. The unrest followed the ousting of Prime Minister Francois Bayrou in a parliamentary confidence vote, and Macron’s swift appointment of close ally Sebastian Lecornu as France’s fifth prime minister in less than two years. Authorities mobilized 80,000 officers nationwide, arresting dozens as protests spread to cities including Nantes, Montpellier and Rennes."
