Global Uprising: Government declares state of emergency – Peru Gen Z protest turn violent.
"Thousands of young Peruvians have taken to the streets for weeks, demanding higher wages, better pensions, and an end to corruption and rising crime. The protests intensified after President Dina Boluarte’s impeachment and the appointment of José Jerí, Peru’s seventh president in less than a decade. Demonstrators accuse Jerí of representing the same political system and are calling for his resignation, the dissolution of Congress, and a new constitution. Tensions escalated after police shot and killed a 32-year-old protester, triggering nationwide outrage. The government plans to declare a state of emergency in Lima, deploy security forces, and restrict gatherings."
Note: Dina Boluarte is a World Economic Forum globalist agent.
