Coming on the heals of The Netherlands unrealized tax gain on stocks, the Carney government is doing one better by coming after Canadians' nest egg. Under the previous Trudeau government, there was also a proposed unrealized tax gain on home properties where the homeowners reside in. This seems like a new and improved version. Either way this is another attempt at the "By 2030, you won't own anything and you'll be happy' famous WEF slogan. We know that when they eventually gain total power and control over the world (aka one world government) we will all lose our accumulated wealth one way or another.
