People Stand Up: Landslide vote alarms EU – AfD makes major inroad into western Germany.

AfD which is the dominant political party in the eastern region of Germany, the formerly known East Germany, makes major inroad into the western region especially in the capital region of Berlin. They secures their first mayoral victory in the German state of Brandenburg, a sparsely population state that surrounds the German capital. René Stadtkewitz won 58.4% of the vote on Sunday.
