Food For Thought: Onwards towards a surveillance state – Powerful microcomputers will make data centres obsolete.
If data centres are going to be obsolete because of these powerful microcomputers, then the speed of the data centres being built was meant for the enormous amount of data needed for a surveillance state.
@barfo281: "The 'data centres' are not for enabling the growth of AI computing, they are surveillance data depots."
@starvinmarvin7964: "They're setting up a digital control grid. Digital currency will work through this system and we will all be tied to it with digital ids. They will track and monitor everything we do. If we step out of line there will be consequences."
@davesalter4928: "Data centres are being built all over the world. They are being built to monitor and track 8 billion people."
@jimgrady7458: "Surveillance State will always need storage if it wants to control the population. Data centers are NOT obsolete, this is just a head-fake to keep people from blowing them up."
@mishimposble: "Data centres are surveillance centre."
@WengertD: "Data centres are just storing information on citizens, to be used for no good."
