Yes!
"Is the Canadian government quietly building the architecture of a surveillance state? Conservative MP Andrew Lawton sounds the alarm on Bill C-22, revealing how 'secret ministerial orders' and metadata collection could threaten the fundamental privacy rights of every Canadian. From warrantless searches to the erosion of trust in our institutions, Lawton breaks down why this legislation is a dangerous gamble with our civil liberties. Watch to see why he says we can’t afford to get this balance wrong."
The Canada Liberal Party had already approved two censorship bills under Justin Trudeau, C-11 (Online Streaming Act) and C-18 (Online News Act). There are four additional censorship bills going through the parliamentary debate at the moment. These are C-2 (Strong Borders Act [between Canada & US]), C-8 (Telecommunications Act], C-9 (Combatting Hate Act) and C-22 (Lawful Access Act). Two of these were held over from the parliamentary session under the Trudeau government. Both died on the floor when subsequent general election was called.
