Migrant crisis – Thousands enter Spain from Morocco in mass border breach.

"At least 18 migrants have died while attempting to reach Spain’s Ceuta from Morocco, with many reportedly drowning as thousands tried to cross the border by sea and land. Video footage showed migrants swimming toward the Spanish enclave, while others attempted to breach the border area near Tarajal beach. Spain has deployed military units to reinforce border security after local officials said police were overwhelmed by the surge in crossings. A Civil Guard officers’ association described the situation as a 'serious humanitarian crisis' as authorities struggle to contain the influx."
