"Britain is reaching boiling point — and more and more ordinary people are making their feelings known. In this video, an asylum seeker openly discussing the support he receives, demonstrations taking place across major English cities, growing anger over immigration and asylum policy, concerns about policing and surveillance, and a protest happening much closer to home over fears surrounding a proposed HMO. 

"Whatever your political views, one thing is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore: *public frustration is growing.* People want answers. Who is coming into the country? Why are they here? What support are they receiving? What happens when communities say they have had enough? And are the authorities applying the same standards to everybody? 

"Demonstrations in Birmingham, Liverpool and elsewhere, as well as concerns over facial-recognition technology and the increasing surveillance of public gatherings. Peaceful protest and freedom of expression matter. But so does keeping things peaceful — because once anger spills over into violence, the consequences can be enormous."
