Scientific Research: Boost, boost and boost – Inability to work following Covid-19 vaccinations.

This research study published in the PubMed at the US National Institute of Health (NIH) investigates whether vaccine-related inability to work among healthcare workers could overstrain the healthcare systems.

The results concluded that of the 1704 health care workers, 34.9% (595) were on sick leave following at least one Covid-19 vaccination, accumulating 1550 sick days. With each subsequent vaccination, the absolute sick days and the rate on sick leave increased significantly. Moderna's Covid-19 vaccine induced a significantly longer and more frequent sick leave after the third dose.
