Food For Thought: Consider this – 'These are riots, not protests.'

"The thing that confuses me the most about seeing these riots because they're not protests. Let's be very clear on that. The first amendment says that we have the right of freedom of speech. We have the right to peacefully assemble. We have the right to a freedom of religion, and we have the right to petition the government. There is nowhere in there that says that you have the right to cause billions of dollars of property damage, of damage to your own state, your own place of living by the means of Molotov cocktails. You do not have the right to loot and to burn things down and to harm a lot of people. That is absolutely not a First Amendment thing. These are riots, not protests."
