"The point is that it's the EU Commission that's behind all of this. They are the ones that are pulling the string, but they do it in such a way that they outsource the censorship. So it's the platforms who are held responsible. And if they don't follow the orders of the so-called trusted flaggers who are not independent, then they can suffer huge financial costs in sometimes 6% of their global revenues which in many cases of the big platforms would be bigger than the revenue they earn in Europe which is remarkable when you think about it. So it's a completely draconian authoritarian code that presents itself as being the opposite. It's there to protect but it's actually there to police speech."

"If we take a deeper look, we see that many of these projects are used either to promote liberal progressive values that are dear to the Brussels elite. So in most cases simply to promote the EU itself and its own integrationist agenda and this includes for example millions of euros given to countless think tanks and NGOs who are explicitly committed to great European integration or even to a federalist agenda and this is what in the reports I call propaganda by proxy where the commission uses these allegedly independent organizations who are in fact anything but NGOs as the name implies. An NGO should be independent from government but many of these NGOs are in fact heavily or entirely funded by the EU. So they should be called GOs effectively and the European Commission and various national governments use them to promote their own agenda.… This is sort of textbook case of foreign interference in the internal affairs of the member states involved. Ultimately aimed at achieving some form of regime change. So this is kind of the European version of what USAID did for many years."
